The end, or Wrapping it up
If you are here and new to this trip I just want to let you know it is entirely in reverse!!!
Friends have asked what was our favourite thing on the trip and we mostly answer that this country of Canada is big and beautiful and full of interesting places and things to see. However, we can say some specific favourites when given a moment to think. I must also remind you there is a page in this site that is called Favourite places in Canada. This list though could be considered the final favourites:

Museum: Museum of Civilization, Hull, Quebec
Public Garden: Butchart Gardens, Victoria, British Columbia
Ferry: Chi Cheemaun, Georgian Bay, Ontario
Restaurant: D’Orsay, Old Quebec City, Quebec
Event: Canada Day, Ottawa, Ontario
Performance: Macbeth, Stratford, Ontario
Campground: Birds Hill Provincial Park, Manitoba
Beachcombing: Shore on West Coast of Newfoundland in Gros Morne
Scenic drive: Saskatoon to Winnipeg … okay that’s a joke, we can’t narrow this down to one … a list of good drives takes you across the country! Just do it!

Best soft ice cream - Prince Rupert Ferry (Island Farms Dairy)
Most expensive - Baskin Robbins, 17th Ave. Calgary, Alberta
Best hard ice cream - Bancroft, Ontario (Kawartha Dairy)
