Lawrie left for a caribou hunt up the Dempster Highway, (not too far from the Arctic Circle) on Saturday. I stayed at home and moved the trailer stuff to the house and moved house stuff from room to room and then back again. It seems like that is all I’m doing, moving things, and I don’t think that is much fun. I’d rather be knitting, gazing at the scenery as it goes by. Oh well! Lawrie arrives home Monday morning, at 4 am and rings the doorbell. I wasn’t waiting up for him, but I did get up to let him in! They were successful with the hunt, though we have just gone to a vegan diet, so someone else is going to enjoy Lawrie’s meat.

We both spend the next few days moving stuff around until mostly everything is put away and relocated to its normal place. This is way more work than we ever expected. Finally by the weekend we can just relax and start to mentally prepare for going back to work on Monday. Sigh!
