<description>Hello Lynn, Lawrie, Oscar and Oreo!

Long time, no see:) We were camping at Kej a couple of weeks ago for our annual pilgramage and thinking of you!

Lynn, you must be getting excited about your upcoming travels. It will be here before you know it! Not in the cards for me this year- I am rapidly going through vacation time and can never seem to save funds:) But maybe one of these days!

I came across something the other day and thought of you. Actually I have joined a dragon boat crew and was chatting with another paddler on Tuesday. She is also a keen recreational paddler- does not scorn at my attempt to j-stroke whilst flat water paddling:) And often with at least one dog in tow. She mentioned that it is much easier now that the dogs wear PFDs! What?!?, say I. Yes indeedy. They now make PFDs for pouches. Check out LL Bean (http://www.llbean.com, search dog PDF). She said the dogs seem happy and it makes it very easy to scoop them out of the lake by the jacket . . . Anyway, I could resist sending this to you. O2 may not approve, but one never knows!

Also, Lawrie, Georgina says hello. She has been watching this (awful) tv show called . . . hmmm, Brat Camp, I believe. Anyway, it chronicles the trials and tribulations of a group of disengaged youth, as they face various outdoor adventures. Winter camping, rock climbing, etc. And, of course, G thinks immediately of you and your adventures. I encouraged her to write to you and tell you this herself, but . . . . :-) But good to know that you have made a lasting impression:)

Also, speaking of lasting impressions, I will have you know that no camping trip is now complete without at least one game of skip-bo. The cards have become a permanent part of our essential camping list. The last trip we had Neatby relatives from the UK along. They, epecially 8 year-old Stephen, were hooked. And a game has gone back with them to Portsmouth:)

Well, I guess that I have rambled on long enough. I hope that all is well with you. This site- even under contruction looks great. Good for you! IT at it's best when it supports human contact and other essential endevours!

take care
